1:30 you know we received an email last week i believe it was last week with a letter commending the marblehead high school regarding their enrollment of females in the ap computer science courses um i’m not sure dr bucky did that include the scores that that got us to that with that commendation or on the ap test or is it just that the details okay we have a a great deal of participation from our female students so that was wonderful news so just to broadcast that anybody else all right all right [Music]

2:16 next up is yasen awesome go ahead and unmute yourself and take it away thank you sarah can everyone hear me yes yes okay good um so i actually did want to give a quick shout out to a couple students who won the boston globe football all scholastic honors uh josh robertson and connor cronin along with coach redlock one coach of the year so congrats to them and several other students who were also named all stars uh 28 mhs students also qualified for the deca state competition in march deca is a finance marketing organization so congrats to them um on january 24th the theater

3:02 department at mhs held auditions for the musical bye bye birdie everyone’s pretty excited about that uh math team our math team is first in the division we had a meet on january 6th and we’re also in the top 50 of the league uh marbleheads got talent is back audition videos are due by the 24th of january and the scholarships total 15 000 that’s a great opportunity um like sarah mentioned the college board awarded mhs the female diversity award for ap computer science principles huge shout out to miss wikivic who runs the course i took her course last year and i really enjoyed it it’s a great program uh mhs the eighth grade open house is on

3:48 january 27th and many mhs clubs are preparing to show off what they do to the eighth graders uh the national art honor society is holding their annual artsonia fundraiser you can purchase original student artwork printed on a variety of items and some of the proceeds will go to help art at the high school the freshman class is also planning a valentine’s day fundraiser with stowaway suites they will also meet with the beacon and dandy donuts for another fundraiser the middle school started composting during their lunch as well and their program is doing well the national green school society at mhs is doing a bunch of things they’re doing

4:35 an audit for a food rescue program continuing their no idling campaign and meeting with local government branches to see how they affect environmental policies in marblehead it’s all great things um and also girls basketball is seven and four uh the ski team has their first race tonight the swim team is undefeated and indoor track has a meet tomorrow and i think that’s everything wonderful thank you for all those updates yes and there’s all really great things going on as as always it’s always fun to hear about it thank you all right next up is public comment um i will ask people to use the raise hand function and to remember that we need your full name and address for our records

5:26 right i don’t have anybody raising here somebody just raised my hand uh melissa kavalich hi hi thank you melissa katlich 10 camille terrace um i just wanted to spend just a few minutes talking about um the calendar discussion that took place at the last school committee meeting um i wanted to personally first thank dr bucky for actually holding a community forum where members of the community came to speak about the calendar that was a very informative respectful and kind discussion between many members of the community i also want to acknowledge emily barron and thank her

6:11 for trying to [Music] make a point about federal holidays and how federal holidays give protection to certain people while failing to give protection to other people we have had this calendar discussion in the manner which the school committee continues to to discuss it for way too many years now we need to work together to appreciate differences within this community and appreciate that some people do not have federal protections the calendar discussion and the insinuations to get rid of the jewish holidays under the umbrella of dei is actually an uneducated view of what dei is dei

6:58 education means that we understand and appreciate and educate one another so that we look at the historical legal socioeconomic perspectives that have given some people rights well have not given other people rights the jewish community has been attacked this past week we have faced some horrible horrible forms of hate over this past week and this is not the week to suggest that the jewish holidays should be removed from our calendar with the incident that occurred earlier this week at the village school we have reason

7:45 to believe that our community has a long way to go in fighting anti-semitism my children have been in this district since 2005. unfortunately and sadly there has not been one year that my kids have gone to the school without having to face anti-semitism in some way shape or form whether it’s a swastika in a classroom whether it’s a swastika john on a jewish child’s backpack whether it’s pennies that are created into swastikas and chemistry classrooms this goes on in our district furthermore we have a history of having some teachers and some coaches that continuously disregard superintendents directives to not do certain things during the judicialities

8:32 until that can occur until we respect one another until we work together and build bridges rather than build barriers between each other’s this conversation should come to an end and we should remain steadfast in protecting one another and being allies to one another thank you melissa all right um i don’t have any other hands raised so that will move us on to our minutes um i believe the 617 ones maybe just made it in there right before the meeting so we will take those off of the agenda for this evening but i know we used to work really hard on the 6 3 and the 6 28 and they have been in the dropbox um so hopefully everyone was able to look them over uh

11:24 so it looks like i have a long update tonight but i will be fairly brief desi has done some program updates uh from what they have launched in the fall with symptomatic testing test and stay and pool testing and they’re moving to an app hold testing program uh we got uh an email that the commissioner wanted to meet with superintendents at 8 30 tuesday morning we got that email at 7 30 monday night on the federal holiday i learned more from channel 5 news than i did in the 45 second call with the commissioner so the testing program is unfolding joseph griffin we have opted into the new program

12:11 we are maintaining our pool testing and our symptomatic testing but i can see those phasing out uh testing phasing out in particular because our vaccination rates are so high and they don’t recommend that vaccinated individuals participate in pool testing and if you’ve had coping you can’t participate in pool testing and so i’m not sure the time and workforce power needed for that but until and it will not surprise you that the launch of the new at-home testing program uh has not been smooth in the last day and a half they will continue to provide cic support for that um it will give us an opportunity to distribute to staff

12:59 initially and then staff and students at home test kits that will take the place of our test and stay program and there will be updates to contact tracing uh our lead nurse the anna mcmahon wanted me to point out that isolation and quarantine updates have been added uh to our website so i guess the quick part of this is anticipate uh some revised information and of course if you were enrolled in the current program that doesn’t just roll over so parents are going to have to re-enroll and they have a simple system that i think collapse today and so kudos to joseph griffin for keeping up with all of this we did have a webinar uh yesterday after tuesday’s launch

13:45 if you link on uh what i have in the dropbox uh that will give you all the particulars uh of the new program uh but we have opted into that we are maintaining uh pool testing and symptomatic testing right now but i anticipate that pool testing uh will be coming to a close once the new program is up and running smoothly

14:24 what’s the process for requesting them distributing them how does that all work and who’s responsible for it yep um we will pick a day of the week for distribution and uh it will probably be similar to windpool testing a similar schedule to that um they are saying that districts can opt in next week for staff to get the initial disbursement which we have done um i don’t know if that shipment will actually arrive when it arrives uh it will come here to brown because this is where joseph griffin’s office is uh but the logistics of distribution and schools and getting those into family’s hands if he’s part of that

15:10 giant to be determined so that’s why we’re maintaining pool testing and symptomatic testing until all of these logistical questions can be answered okay so are parents expected to be testing their students at a

15:40 so basically so i i’ve been in these meetings sort of more boots on the ground than the school committee level um at tower so basically how i’m understanding it is that and i was also reading some articles on it earlier today is that they’re shifting the onus of testing from the schools more towards home um as we sort of are meandering our way through the next phases of this um and so if you if you maintain the pool testing their recommendation is kind of to go a few days out from that so that you’re basically sort of testing at two points in your week and then obviously if you’re not maintaining full testing then you then you’ve got that one point and that’s where you’re at um

16:27 you know it’s it’s sort of the next step as we are as we move through this um and and again sort of putting that back back into the hands of families because as i’ve gotten a first-hand look over the past few weeks when ever as everything has exploded it’s a i mean we you know we’ve heard how much work it is for the nurses but not with all of those tests um like when a pool comes up positive all those tests then have to be the binax tests have to be input into the i forget the name of the state system that they’ve got access to so that they’re being recorded and everything and so this has basically gotten taking that piece away from the

17:14 nurses so that they can focus on really removing like the the symptomatic testing like removing the students who are actively sick at school um and and what everyone knows at this point is that if you’re vaccinated and asymptomatic um particularly while our masks are still in play um that your your risk of spread is so low that it’s sort of this piece of like you know again long range long term on this like how do we move forward as as we’ve talked about before as the pandemic becomes endemic that’s how that’s how it’s made sense to me well let me go through you know

17:59 materials in the is the webinar available it is i didn’t forward that on to the computer i opened up the document that you linked in your update and this timeline is like within the next week yes okay okay you’re not prepared for that similar to the test that went out to staff yes yes i’m just thinking if we’re trying to get people to re-enroll it’s going to take a little while to get that’s why i maintained our food yes no which is great which i think is a good idea but we should probably be ahead of what’s happening this is that one spent most of the day today trying to log onto the system and get things in in play

18:53 um and i i’m sure that we’re this is in the works and i would hope it would come from the state but it very well may not can we just have a really really boiled down easily accessible faq how do i get a test when do i test how do i report a test do i need to report a test just very broad quick not paragraphs because i think people are so exhausted that we just people don’t want to digest pages anymore and they just want really quick high-level answers absolutely sarah the state is here to help as they told us and they have put together some form letters that actually specify that information you will pick up your child’s test here at this time

19:41 and so but the system wasn’t keeping up with all of the input and so that’s what joseph was working on today is trying to iron out all these logistics the state is nothing if not helpful in this whole and as i understand it just there to sort of again answer a question you don’t have to report positives and you then just you know you call your child out stick with coven with you god of night i’m sorry you don’t have to report negatives and then you call your child out stick with coven if you test positive i just are tests being sent home with backpacks or you have to pick it up

20:22 if we can pull off sending test home and backpacks i think that would be ideal um because i think it’s another hurdle yeah for parents to have to i think we’re gonna have to see numbers to see how many people opt in and what makes sense for families and for school staff as well as much as they say they’re trying to decrease the burden on schools um that remains to be seen yeah six and one half dozen of the other

21:06 we will advertise the position tomorrow that posting will walk um people that are interested in serving on the search committee as you can see will be the superintendent the assistant superintendent for teaching and learning a building principal a school committee rep a cpac rep a medical rep two parents and two teachers so if people are interested uh as a parent or a teacher or another rep um they should get an email to me indicating uh their interest and this will be in the weekly superintendent update tomorrow uh but just uh expressing why they’re interested in what they might bring onto the search for the next electrical personal um and that gives you kind of a sense of the timeline uh lasting most of february march with

21:53 an announcement of the new principal scheduled for the first week in april you know what i’m gonna ask great i i just never know that you know is there any way that we can bring this timeline up a bit certainly when we have the search committee in that first meeting if people want to make that a more aggressive timeline i’m amenable to that but this kind of follows the progression of how other searches have gone and uh i don’t you know now is the prime time for candidates who are looking and so getting posting up this month was important i agree um and that’s one of the reasons why if you can look at the calendar if there is a way to bring it up i’d like us to do that

22:42 um then um then uh school committee representative i don’t know if you guys want to do that this evening but we will want a committee though if you want to do that at the first meeting or talk about that but that is not selected by me that is something you want to decide you can do whatever you want sure it’s fine with me um not to put you on the spot you don’t have to answer on the spot but that’s my recommendation

23:16 behind that but because uh no emily you know is um our metco rep and she’s heavily involved in the diversity equity inclusion i think that’s going to be playing an important role um for you know our future leaders in the district and so i think she’s well pleased for that position i mean it’s fine with me i don’t know i’m always happy to serve i don’t need to serve um so yeah that’s fun to me sarah

23:51 um i i have no opposition um to emily whatsoever um prior to megan making that motion i was going to um just know we might want to at some point look at operating procedures or policy i don’t know if it’s a policy but um where whoever the the school committee liaison to that school is because they kind of already have an embedded relationship and i believe it’s david at um glover you already have a relationship with that sac kind of no have gotten to know the school culture a little bit more that you know that made that that was my suggestion that may be a path we want to take um for that whatever school’s sac rep to kind of follow that through because of that relationship

24:38 um but i’m not i’m in no way opposed to emily it was just a very linear path to me yeah that makes a lot of sense um and you know i i have i think i think the thinking behind emily is is great um david i don’t know you know that i know sometimes with work and everything it gets yeah well i mean i defer right so um this past year so when um dr satterfield was retained so i’ve done my time on on that search committee so i i and i appreciate that sarah too but i mean i think it’s also i think it’s a good linear progression as you suggest for us to look at and then also

25:23 then also then also based on you know balancing representation of school committee members as well going forward and you know like if you know god fits the high school like i’m the high school sec rep but i also have a child there so i would i would not want to do that so yeah but i think that’s that’s out that’s definitely something to pay attention to sarah it’s a really good point so okay do we need emotion do we need a motion i don’t think i don’t know questions so the next thing on the list is just an update on instructional walkthroughs that was one of my goals for this year and i just wanted to keep that uh on the radar that those are happening

26:09 and really are rewarding um it’s uh i’m very appreciative of the teachers that invite four adults to come walking into the room but it is an opportunity for administrators to align our practices and so to have conversations uh professional conversations about are we all seeing similar things and one person isn’t going in and seeing an exemplary lesson and somebody else is seeing something that they want and so those conversations have been very important so um the budget conversations continue uh we have a number uh on capital we have a number on operating and we have the next joint budget subcommittee meeting that will be tuesday january 25th at noon um and again those numbers are

26:56 fluid uh but they’re big numbers and so this committee i think later in the meeting is going to have some conversation about where we go with big numbers but um just wanted to touch on the budget piece some upcoming meetings safety committee will be on monday uh doing some great uh work there the wellness committee is going to be on thursday i will have a superintendent coffee next friday at the village school at 8 15 that’s kind of an open forum there isn’t an agenda or a scheduled topic for that so whatever’s on people’s hearts and minds and then what everybody’s been waiting the dog naming contest has been beyond rewarding we got over 150

28:06 for the for the bedrock and also the mascotic glover so there are two students in mrs dobbins classroom asher and bobby who have won their class uh a pizza party and one of the four allen boys whether it’s bryce and colin hudson or rowan also suggested rocky and i was just gonna pull the name out of hat but we’re gonna do a pizza party for everybody that’s all very nice and that was beyond rewarding the nice emails that i got from families and pictures of their dog and how they named and families talking about we sat around the dinner table and the children were all excited so that was really a rewarding thing for me very good

29:16 i’m just not sure where it falls but i do want to talk about us um such a specific thought okay um belongs here somewhere else probably okay right and that’s all we have we have the schedules and the warrant articles this is the only place that the budget occurs so i would say here so there’s obviously been a lot of work done on the budget today john’s administration up until this point john’s administering the team and us in the town and everyone um and as we continue to go through those conversations one thing that i do want to put to the committee is get your thoughts on adding a role for right now we have a metco director but adding in on that co

30:02 liaison role and kind of elevating that medical director to um really be focusing on our dei efforts and district i think we’ve seen loud and clear from our school community and the community at large that dei is a priority it’s one of our main priorities for the planning for success in our five-year plan and i just think it warrants having someone really focused on that work and we know from you know the job description and the work that’s being done now that metco director role is really you know focused on the day-to-day you know making sure that they’re the point person for our families that come from boston and um you know our families that are involved here in marblehead and

30:50 what happens day to day in schools um but so i just want to you know think about kind of having adding some more assistance there okay perfect yes so i love that idea but i think it’s more adding than your position not so much because the mecco director is a very specific um job and i think what you’re describing is more like i think they called like a di director there’s a specific name that a lot of these schools are including so i think you just have to separate i mean yeah no i think i’m effectively saying the same thing but you um just not to get it confused that like all is meant coming because it’s two very

31:35 different things so i just wanted to yes i you’re right you’re 100 right it was just that necco director rolls a director role at this point right so yeah we probably need to rename that role and i would look to john and michelle to figure out how to fund that you know because um right now that will condemn the brand and probably be able to do that going forward if you’re not focused on that goal but adding in you know also adding in liaison to make sure that we don’t still have that very important role right or in other words if we did if if what you’re saying is to do a dei and director of dei as sort of another administrative title um and then leaving the medco piece as is that’s what i would say yeah

32:20 yeah yeah uh sarah i think i saw your hand up um so yeah i think because of the funding mechanism and the rules that govern it because of the way it’s been set up um emily’s correct we have to you cannot have the medco director overseeing other elements for of the district it needs to be primarily and pretty much exclusively focused on the metco students because of the way that grant is funded we’re obligated by law so we we can’t do that um but i think the idea is to bring on another administrator to focus on dei um and so i guess we would want some feedback from john and the rest of

33:05 the administration whether they see that as an assistant position as a director position a full-time if it would fall under teaching and learn like how what that looks like and how it looks i think it’s a great direction but um it’s not as simple as just you know changing names of metco director tomeko assistant like we’re very we’re very it’s very specific because of our funding structure that can’t be moved around just to be clear i’m not suggesting we found this role on our program suggesting that we add someone to for them and i’d just like to say i’m so happy that you brought this up because based on what has happened in marblehead in the last week and then

33:52 we had another incident only a couple weeks ago like a few months ago we have so much work we need to do here that it’s impossible for just even our dei team to do everything we need as much support as we can get to get us to wherever we need to be with our students and we owe it to them to give them that education because and i think it is important you know as you sort of mentioned that we’ve got these we like this was a major piece of the of the planning for success and as you know emily you bring up a really great point that it is it seems a bit unfair if we’re we have this as a major

34:38 component to not have someone sort of you know dedicated to kind of overseeing that piece um whereas right now we’ve got some really amazing staff members who are heading it up and i’m liam you’re doing great work with it as well but you know to really have someone who is overseeing all of it and it’s coordinated and and efficiently moving forward can we can we have um john i don’t know if it would be john or nian or who exactly it would be but kind of just do a little more research and digging on some exemplary districts that have this in place what the structure is and just get a and get us some information on on um doing it well and not just

35:24 you know so so we’re we’re getting what we want out of it it’s not just like okay we’ve created this but we don’t know where it’s going yes is a quick answer to that and if the superintendent’s list serve is any indicator this is a conversation and a position that many districts are looking at because there are requests almost daily does anyone have a sample job description is a director is it a coordinator so i’m happy to do that research and report back to our first failure meeting and you know no one’s even mentioned the fact that there are a lot of initiatives coming from desi regarding dei and the expectations i mean there’s initiatives coming into the athletics arena as well so um you know this you know it if we want to stay on top of everything and sort of you know as we’re looking at

36:10 this budget as what do we need to be an exemplary district providing exemplary education you know this does make a lot of sense thank you thank you all right go ahead next thing on the agenda is the recommendation to move dr donnelly from the interim director of student services to the permanent director it is a school committee appointment uh but my recommendation is that paul has done an exemplary job and she has moved a lot of things forward and uh bringing stability uh to that department taking the interim title and making her a permanent director and she has tremendous support from cpac in this transition as well so i don’t know if you guys want to ask her any questions

37:14 welcome paula hello um hi paula i just um i thank you wanted to thank you for you know it it was uh i think that at one point it was drinking out of a trying to drink out of a fire hose at some at some point throughout this year and i wanted to thank you for that and just ask you know if there’s really anything you have that you want us to know or or to share with us um um not specific i was expecting harder questions than that i think we’ve all lived it for the last year right now and i you know i i really can’t think of anything specific off the top of my head except um that i am grateful for the support

38:00 that i’ve gotten from everyone on the committee that i’ve interacted with either in this forum or you know some of you are parents um of kiddos on ieps and i’ve just been appreciative of the support you guys have provided because i think every conversation has always ended with what else do you need is there anything that we can support you with please let us know um and i think that probably is you know even outside of a pandemic life you know making sure that people feel supported by colleagues um and other people that they work with so i think that if we continue to build that mindset that this is a really collaborative endeavor that student services isn’t going to just be special education and that’s it but that we really all continue to foster

39:48 school when she was the chair over there in high school and you know i just found her to be really professional um you know incredibly um well spoken and intelligent and knowing you know the direction of students and i think the time that we were in a small group together was when we were talking about what the portrait of a graduate looks like and as the um the the state sort of um stuff of the high school comes down you know what what we’re looking at on that sac and you know paula just had a really great lens into what student who students should be when they leave our high school after having you know come through the marblehead system and so i think you know i i’m i’m really happy that that we’ve got her in

43:18 dropbox dropbox calendar and what does starting to share on the screen um so mea uh voted uh to approve uh this calendar at a meeting last night um and uh it includes the three p day pd days to begin the year it does have schools starting after labor day uh the pre-k and k start the following monday but in conversation today people were wondering if we could have that earlier that’s certainly something uh that i’m willing to explore i’m not sure that that necessitates another version of the calendar coming before the school committee it offers the full conference day in december um it’ll be a half day for conferences

44:06 the following week um i heard sarah’s concern that the holiday vacation or the holiday recess was very short this year and it looked like it was going to be shorter next year so we have made that december 23rd day a vacation day with the early release on the 22nd um and then good friday as a half day and so when i put this in it was mea is voting but they voted last night uh to approve the calendar that you see before you all right um i will i will just so that we’re when we actually vote we know what we’re voting on i will ask if there’s any questions or concerns um with with the with the proposed calendar tonight sarah

44:54 um um yes first i want to just address um some research i did or actually the one of the outstanding questions was we’re going to look at if we could move up um the kindergarten screening because i kindergarten and pre-k starting mid-month in september i think is exceptionally hard on working families um i think it’s hard on balancing also the way we we don’t find until september kind of what’s coming in sometimes by numbers i think it’s really hard on our budget it’s hard on planning it doesn’t always lead to the most balanced classes um so we had we were going to look at moving that kindergarten screening up and having pre-k in case start at the

1:02:19 selectment and that is for our special education revolving fund it is a type of revolving fund it’s under mass general law chapter 44 section 53 and a half which most of the town’s revolving funds are under however we only have one fund under that particular part of the mass general law and that’s why we’re only voting this one article rather than all of our warrants i mean all of our revolving funds that we have and it means it requires annual reauthorization by town meeting and in addition to that annual reauthorization we also have to set a limit which is applied to our spending the fund can can collect and reserve as much funding that comes in however we are limited to spending only up to that dollar amount that is voted by town

1:03:04 meeting each year so um this year i recommend our special education revolving fund we set it a limit of a million dollars that’s much higher than you’re anticipating actually bringing in next year but the limit can be as high as it really wanted to be um or we wanted it to be you know as long as tom meeting agreed because if the funds aren’t in that fund and have been received then we can’t spend them um but if we receive funds in excess of the dollar amount that is authorized then we cannot spend them which essentially the spending of this fund reduces our reliance on the operating budget so this is a good thing right now we only have um probable

1:03:50 tuitions committed for next year about 240 000 um and then typically we also have usually about a hundred thousand that comes in after year end for the previous fiscal year so at this time i’m only anticipating about 350 000 but we really need to also revisit this program and potentially bring in additional students which will raise that revenue amount and reduce some reliance on our operating budget so at this time i recommend we move forward a request for the special education revolving fund reauthorization in the amount of one million dollars for fiscal year 23. um in addition to that i really don’t know if that requires a school committee vote i don’t believe so because it’s just an annual reauthorization that it typically

1:04:35 just goes on the time meeting hard but if if school committee decided to vote that i don’t think there’s a problem with that um we do have two other warren articles that are really placeholders and we have confirmed with jason silver that there are placeholders for both of these articles one is for a supplemental appropriation for the school department which essentially is the operating override we’re not sure where this will go at this point it’s still early on in the budget process but we want to make sure that we have that mechanism built in should we need it so we have um proposed some more language the warrant article language to town council and she is reviewing it and will get back to us with the final wording

1:26:06 all right i think i have i have one other so uh just prior to this meeting the uh building committee met we still do have a building committee but just a quick update we had gone from over 1100 punch list items and we’re down to um 41 punch list items that remain the majority of that work is taking place on on saturdays after school and uh will be pretty much finished up over the the february uh vacation so that was a real positive report and essentially when you look at things where somewhere hovering around 98 work weren’t complete and lastly we had a detailed uh financial review of where the project stands and

1:26:52 stands and stands and um we’ve been somewhere around 1.2 1.3 million and we learned we learned through further detail and close out of various items as we continue to get closer and closer to a hundred percent completion that we’re now teetering towards uh you know 1.4 million 1 million 446 000 to be exact i believe was was the number so um you know very very positive news and we’re very fortunate because even with that number you know as we’ve heard you know sarah and others have been able to bring forward needs that were maybe missing whether it was a punch board or um some special needs for

1:27:38 uh some of the classrooms um we’ve been able to fund some of those things that just either were overlooked or once they were in the school we realized that we needed them so um all those things are baked into that budget and um we’re in a really good place so sarah you were on the meeting too but that that’s the update that i have wonderful greatness yeah all right um that brings us to new business uh any new business

1:28:09 all right and then correspondence um lisa and i did put in the email that we had received from peter cohen of the charter school um i did reply so just to sort of sum it up um peter cohen reached out they need a new roof at the charter school as well as as he found out that we’re looking at our high school room and that’s ruth um and so he his wonder was you know is there a way since you know although they’re a charter school you know most of the children do feed to and from the marblehead public school system was there a way in which that their roof needs can kind of come in line with ours and sort of in that request um so i did get back to him i kept dr bucky on that email and i said you know that’s a great

1:28:55 question i actually have no idea um you know i did point out the fact that our buildings are all town buildings and that we were working on our warrant articles and so and so that was sort of how i viewed that but um i let him know that we would be talking about it this evening um to see if anybody else had any sort of working information on that um or sort of how we probably move forward yeah sarah

1:29:22 um so i looked into some of this too um i had reached out and asked um jason and michelle my got was that there was no mechanism through town meeting to do that and and that was confirmed um we are unable uh legally to join those two and to do that if they so choose i believe they can do it as a citizen’s article our citizen’s water article um but there’s no mechanism for us to sponsor anything or for the town to sponsor anything to allocate funds for that okay so maybe i can reply to peter again um and i will relay that information sarah um that and and you know kind of suggest
